Play like we did and we will win?
Nigel Clough has made what may seem a strange statement regarding tomorrows cup replay. Forgive me if I'm wrong, but isn't playing at home usually a better option that travelling 100's of miles after a day at work on a Tuesday night?
In Sunday's THE NON-LEAGUE PAPER (Page 11), he claims that a performance like that of Saturday's will see his team progress.
Well if that was the case, why did they not win on Saturday? I may be a simple man, but what the hell does he mean? Does he mean that Saturday was a plan to beat the Fleet at home? If so, then he is a brave man.
Meanwhile the Fleet manager spoke about the pitch being better than that at Burton - and what he sees to be a good game.
So - what you all think? A win on the cards? You would think with home advantage the fleet should go through. But footballs a funny old game eh!
